Above, I meant to say, "Filter or not" I am in awe of this. Sorry for the mistake. Good wishes to you & I want you to know that you are on my watch list & I am voting on this & adding it to my favorites.

Hi Anne-Elizabeth, thanks for your inspiring comment. I figured the safe-filter was "safer" lol. Thanks for the vote.

mmmmm..."incendiary" how much I love that word..it has something of "revolution"...a purpose. A kind of special energy...at least here. I have managed to handle that heat, so attracted by those turquoise and blue and green mosaics that are dancing before my eyes. Wonderful....

Hi Rosa, yes, the work on this piece was intense, on purpose to bring a very "incendiary" or burning idea. So many things in life can be an incendiary substance or "firestarter". Fire is hot and burns, emotional fire is hot and burns, and in the realm of this piece the physical lust of desire can burn. Working with mosaics is intense and in some mosaics I hide or mute the actual mosaic pictures that build the main forms but in this piece I let the mosaic orbs come to the front and actually "speak" the piece with their intense colors. The viewer is hit in the face with the fire and I expect steps back a bit until they can handle the heat and come back and take a closer look. Thanks for putting on your heat-resistant viewer and taking that closer look.

Oh....those !filters" should not be placed here...when I see one, I go like a rocket to see what is in...and well...I cannot find any reason for this filtering. I respect the rules, though....and find this abstract multicolored mosaic a really interesting, original and precious was to "paint". The result is reat. And I must add that the art is not in the texturizing, which already is perfect but in the wat that the colour of the mosaic ar been distributed, in order to give shape to that....."lady". I live it very much. Rosa
